Once there was an old farmer. He had three sons who always quarreled with one another. The old man was greatly worried to see this situation. He tried to settle the disputes by words but all in vain. Unfortunately, the old farmer fell ill. He was on the verge of death. He asked them to bring a bundle of sticks and asked them to break the bundle but none of them succeeded.
Then the old farmer asked his sons to untie the bundle. He asked them to break the sticks one by one. They broke the sticks easily. At this point, the old farmer addressed his sons that they would be strong and unconquerable like the bundle of sticks if they are united. Otherwise, they would be destroyed like sticks. Saying this, the old farmer breathed his last.
